Our growing timber range is sourced from fully certified mills and importers across Europe and includes Batten and OSB, Carcassing, C24 Treated Structural Carcassing, CLS, Firrings and Tilt Fillet as well as specialist sheet materials. 
Roofbase have partnered with several timber importers, local timber distributors, and mills to enable a sustainable and broad product range offering. Our timber range has grown from the core timber products expected from a roofing merchant such as Batten and OSB, to now include Carcassing, C24 Treated Structural Carcassing, CLS, Firrings, and Tilt Fillet, as well as specialist sheet materials. 
 
We have also expanded our range of ancillary products including screws and metalwork so whatever your timber requirement whether it is for a flat roof, a loft conversion, or a cut pitched roof, Roofbase have the products you require.

Batten 

All Roofbase Red & Blue batten is graded to BS5534 

Marley JB Red Batten 

Instantly identifiable to Local Authority Building Control, NHBC, and other inspectors. 
Battens are treated with preservative MicroPro to protect from attack by wood-rotting fungi and insects. MicroPro complies with BS8417:2011 usage class 2 and carries a 60 year desired service life. 
Laser graded in the UK. 

Blue Batten 

Blue colour recognised across all NHBC and other building authorities on site. 
Treated with Bockemit forte Profi, used to prevent attack from biotic infestation and long-term protection from all natural elements. Treatment is applied through vacuum pressurisation ensuring the treatment gets right to the core. 
Visually graded and stamped on each individual length. 

Orientated Strand Board Osb3 

Used for wall sheathing, flooring and decking 
Conforms to EN300:OSB3 for structural load bearing 
At Roofbase we stock the following sizes

Carcassing Timber 

Our Carcassing is stocked across our branches and stored inside where possible, our sizes start from ungraded 47 x 50mm and go up to C24 treated 47 x 200mm from stock. 
 
C24 is available from 47 x 100 up to 75 x 225mm 
Kiln dried 
Planed all round with easi edge 
All our Carcassing comes from accredited and mills across Sweden, Latvia and Estonia 
 
C24 Carcassing is generally used in the following applications
