Bringing natural light and ventilation into buildings is essential for comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetics. At Roofbase, we’re proud to offer the full range of Coxdome rooflight products.

Known for quality, durability, and flexibility, Coxdome rooflights are ideal for both new-builds and refurbishment projects.

Coxdome Product Ranges

Classic Range - Flat Roof Domes

The Coxdome Classic Range of flat roof domes is designed for both residential and commercial applications, offering versatile daylighting solutions with multiple glazing options. The domes can feature double, triple, or even quadruple skins, and are available in clear or diffused finishes.

These rooflights come in an extensive range of shapes, square, rectangular, pyramid, and circular, allowing adaptation to different architectural styles and installation needs. With fixed, manual, and electric opening versions, users have full control over both ventilation and roof access, while sizes range from compact to expansive, making the product suitable for a variety of projects.

Upstands are either 150mm or 300mm splayed, or 160mm vertical, ensuring compatibility with diverse roof constructions and optimal weatherproofing.

The Classic Range is designed for easy handling and installation, with both the base and top packaged together for convenience. Whether installed as a fixed element or with opening functionality, Coxdome Classic rooflights provide reliable performance, thermal efficiency, and ease of operation, making them a leading choice for both home and workplace environments.

Galaxy Range

Manufactured from high-quality UV-protected polycarbonate, Galaxy is a ‘dome only’ solution designed to fit into an existing builder’s kerb or upstand.

Galaxy is ideal for refurbishment projects or applications where only the glazing needs replacement. The 100 mm flange ensures it fits most kerbs without adjustment and is ideal for refurbishment projects where only the glazing needs to be replaced if damaged or discoloured.

Designed to allow safe and easy access onto the roof space, for frequent inspection or occasional maintenance.

Suitable for use on flat roofs with maximum inclination of 15º, they also provide controlled ventilation and emergency escape access.

Used to access the roof area whilst also allowing natural daylight to enter a space, access hatches are available in various sizes.

Polycarbonate skins can be double, triple or quadruple – clear or diffused. Each come with either 160 mm vertical upstand (recommended for frquent use) or 150 mm splayed upstand (recommended for occasional use).

SHEV (AOV)

OXDOME SHEV (AOV) systems provide a smoke and heat exhaust ventilation solution for all commercial and residential applications. Supplied factory assembled and factory tested, all products are certified to EN12101-2. SHEV (AOV) systems not only help to provide smoke extraction in the event of a fire, but they also provide day-to-day controllable ventilation.

Available with clear or obscure polycarbonate glazing to enhance the building’s natural daylight, or with a fully insulated aluminium solid cover.

The COXDOME SHEV (AOV) range is available in a wide range of sizes and complies with the latest building regulations on fire safety and can be integrated into any Building Management System (BMS). Linked to a central control panel, control panels can be triggered from either manual override switches local to the ventilator and the ground floor by dedicated smoke detectors, or by interfacing with a third-party smoke detection/fire alarm system . The BMS is complete with battery backup in case of mains failure.
