Lineflex Fleece Backed EPDM can be laid onto many substrates, each may require a slightly different application process.
Laying Lineflex on a timber substrate will require water based adhesive.

The deck must be dry and clean before laying the membrane, position rubber and mark the deck as shown 100mm from the edge of the membrane.
Roll membrane back and roller apply water based adhesive to the deck up to the marked line at a rate of 5 litres per 15m2.
Mate rubber to the adhesive and sweep out any air bubbles, overlap the next piece of rubber 50mm. Repeat the process to cover the entire substrate.
Seal the rubber with a hot air welder at a rate of 2.5m per minute at 220 degrees (level 4), finish by rolling with a silicone roller.
Laying Lineflex on a felt, asphalt, concrete or fibreglass substrate will require contact adhesive.

Laying Lineflex onto insulation boards must be done with mechanical fixings.

Fix the first section in place using fixings and washers @ 300mm centres.
Overlap next section of membrane beyond washers by a minimum of 50mm and seal with a hot air welder using a silicone roller at a rate of 2.5m per minute at 220 degrees (level 4)
Where applicable, use solvent based adhesive to adhere to any upstands.
Install washers and fixings 40mm from upstand, 300mm apart.
