Continuing to Raise The Roof

The first formal meeting of Raise the Roof took place in December 2023, at Walsall Football Club. 

 

The 25-strong meeting heard talks from Mark Hands of Construction Shield Assured, MCRMA’s Clare Fenton and NFRC’s Ruth Scarrott. It was attended by a range of roofing industry professionals working in roles from marketing to specification, architecture to training. 

 

Raise the roof was formed to promote equality, diversity and inclusivity (EDI) in roofing with the objective of mutually educating, supporting and inspiring industry professionals. 

 

Roofbase’s Insulation Sales Manager Nicki Brodie, and Training Manager Lesley Hughes are both proud members of the organisation, and are committed to promote EDI in the construction industry.
